How DutyTag works

You bring your listings. DutyTag reads each product, matches it to the official tariff schedules, and gives you codes, reasons and prices you can use on your next parcel.

1

Upload your listings

Download your listings file from Etsy, eBay, Shopify or Vinted and drop it in. DutyTag keeps your own product names and SKUs, and treats each variation as its own line, because a 350 ml mug and a 500 ml mug can carry different prices and duty.

Want to try one product first? The free checker takes a single description.

2

Answer the few we flag

When a product could fall under two codes, DutyTag asks instead of guessing. For the gift box above: “Are the candles and matches sold together as one set?” One tap, and the code is filled in.

Every code comes with its reason: which heading it falls under and why. Change any code yourself if you know better; DutyTag keeps a note of your change.

3

Export and reprice

Download a file your label tool imports directly: Royal Mail Click & Drop, Canada Post, Chit Chats or Pirate Ship. Each line has the code, a short customs description and the country of origin.

On paid plans you also see the duty on each variation and the US price that keeps your margin under Etsy's duty-paid rule, plus how many €3 code lines a typical EU order creates.

After that, DutyTag keeps watching

Tariff rates change. When a rate on one of your codes moves, you get one email with the products it affects and their new suggested prices.
