Terms of service

Who we are
DutyTag (“DutyTag”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Haseeb Sagheer, a sole proprietor trading as DutyTag. You can reach us at hello@dutytag.com. By using www.dutytag.com or any DutyTag service, you agree to these terms.
What DutyTag does
DutyTag suggests customs tariff classification codes (HS, HTS, UK and EU commodity codes) for products you describe or upload, explains its suggestions, estimates duties and fees, and produces files and documents to help you ship. It is an information tool, not a licensed customs broker, and does not file declarations on your behalf.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for every customs declaration you make. Codes, duty rates and prices shown by DutyTag are suggestions and estimates based on the tariff data available at the time, which can change. Check uncertain items, and seek a binding ruling or professional advice where the stakes are high.
Accounts
Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 and using DutyTag for your business. Don't misuse the service, including by scraping it, sending automated traffic, reselling access, or uploading content you have no right to use.
Plans, payments and Polar
Payments are processed by Polar Software Inc. (polar.sh), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Polar handles payment, invoicing, VAT and sales tax, and payment-related questions. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel any time. Refunds follow our refund policy.
Your content
You keep ownership of the listings and data you upload. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you. We may use anonymised, aggregated classification results (for example, that a product type was classified under a given code) to improve accuracy for all users. See our privacy policy.
Availability and changes
We work to keep DutyTag running and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change features or these terms; if a change materially affects paid users, we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, DutyTag is not liable for duties, penalties, delays, seized or returned parcels, or lost profits arising from codes or estimates you relied on, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can stop using DutyTag and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
