What £5 is up against
A single held or returned parcel usually costs more than a year of the Seller plan.
- Return postage on a held parcel
- Often more than the item itself, and you lose the sale.
- Duty you didn't price in
- Under Etsy's duty-paid rule, 10% duty on a £40 mug is £4 off every US order.
- An extra EU code
- €3 for each different code in a parcel under €150. Inconsistent codes add up.

Billing questions
Do I need a card to start?
No. Create a free account and your first 10 products are checked free. Pick a plan when you want exports, US prices or more products.
What counts as a product?
Each line in your upload: a listing, or a variation of it when the variation has its own price or material. Re-checking the same product doesn't count again.
Do prices include VAT?
Prices are shown in pounds. Polar, our payment provider, adds VAT or sales tax where your country requires it and shows the final amount, in your currency, before you pay.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time from your account and stay active until the end of the period you paid for.
What if the codes are wrong for my shop?
Every code comes with its reason and confidence, so you can see what it's based on. If DutyTag doesn't work for you, ask within 14 days. See the refund policy.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, from Plan and billing in your dashboard. Moving between Seller and Assistant is handled in the billing portal so you're never charged twice.
